Made up in 1959, it’s the first elastane based on segmented polyurethane.
Produced exclusively by INVISTA ™, it has extraordinary properties of elongation (up to 8 times the initial length) and recovery of the original shape.
In small percentages it’s used in blends with all fibers, natural and synthetic. It gives fabrics exceptional elasticity and shape recovery ability, allowing you to create unique garments for comfort and perfect fit.
It is very resistant to bacterial agents, molds, chlorinated water and is used in all sectors of clothing and beyond.
